Pent roofs ensure that water cannot find its way into the workshop by sending it down the sloped surface instead of allowing it to sit and add weight onto the roof of the workshop. This allows you to position the workshop so that the water runs where you want it to. Pent buildings can be positioned close to the house, fence or wall, with the roof sloping in the opposite direction.

Our strong, heavy duty sectional buildings are ideal for industrial uses, including the storage of machinery, and other items. If you have a sports team, a pent workshop could be transformed into a club house for half-time pep talks and strategical meetings. Alternatively, if you work from home and need a studio for your projects, a pent workshop can be fully insulated in order for it to be used all year round – especially if it is to be used as an office or hobby room.

Each pent workshop crafted by Solid Sheds is protected by polyester granite mineral felt alongside tongue and groove roof cladding which is fitted to a fully trussed, extra strong roof framework. The extra strong wall framework (50mm x 75mm timber) is supplied with diagonal bracing which is protected by Redwood Shiplap cladding and a Vapour Barrier Membrane.

Our 100% pressure treated pent workshops are supplied with fixed toughened glass windows, a single door (3″ thick and 3′ wide) and galvanised door furniture as standard.
