I recently purchased a Solid Shed/Workshop following weeks of looking for the right structure. The installers arrived on time and surveyed the paved area where the shed was to be installed. They brought in the various panels and immediately started with levelling the base. They advised it would take a few hours as this was a larger building. I asked a few questions regarding the build quality and was advised all structures are built using a jig to ensure quality and consistency. The structure went together quickly and was securely assembled. I couldn’t fault the build quality and appeared well engineered with cross members ensuring a rigid structure. Finally, the door was hung on substantial hinges and the weight of the door suggested they were needed. I was asked where I wanted the door handles fixing and an internal bolt? The rubber texture coating was resin sealed to the roof and the installation was completed. I was instructed I should wait at least six weeks before using the protective sealant allowing for the treated wood to dry sufficiently. The installers were very clean and tidy and removed any leftover materials. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending solid sheds if you’re looking for a quality structure that is going to last for many years, particularly with the harsh weather experienced on the Fylde coast.

We’ve just had our new apex shed delivered and erected.
We are thrilled with the quality of the product and the standard of service has been fantastic. All the staff we’ve dealt with have been professional and courteous. We’ll definitely be recommending Solid Sheds to family, friends and neighbours.
Opted for the premium garden room customised to encompass 3 internal spaces: a hobby room, a sun room/chill out room and a bike store. Julie at Solid Sheds Leyland was brilliant throughout the process helping us design the layout, choose window/door configurations etc. Great customer service and everything went like clockwork from the electrical fits, plastering, right up to the AC installation. Super happy with the garden room and sensibly priced too compared to other companies. Can’t wait to start using it now and I would highly recommend Solid Sheds to anyone!
Had a summer house delivered and built today. Panicking a bit in case it wasn’t going to fit in the space I wanted it to go. Had a home visit by sales and then they got the main office to double check. Came out quickly and was assured that it should go in the space. So much so that they agreed to wave the £100 non delivery fee. Jini did an excellent job erecting the shed and even made some alterations that needed to be done. He was sent because if anyone could make it work he would. Great company to deal with and a fantastic service. Highly recommended!

Shed delivered and installed efficiently. It’s good to have been with a company that does “exactly what it says on the tin.

We had our Ultra room fitted this week.We are over the moon with it.From the 1st enqury right through to the installation the service has been amazing. Communication,customer service, quality all excellent. The 2 fitters Brad and Louie were very professional,efficient and lovely lads who couldn’t do enough for us. We had our new shed delivered and erected on March 17th 2021 and are thrilled with it. The product is fantastic, excellent value for money especially in comparison to other sheds we looked at with different companies and the two lads who put the shed up were brilliant. They were pleasant, polite and very professional and obviously knew their trade. We would definitely recommend Solid Sheds and would have no hesitation in going to them again.

Studio summerhouse delivered yesterday excellent service from start to finish. Although this is only 6×6 seems plenty of space inside. Quality timber and roofing. Very pleased with friendly team who erected it. Would definitely recommend.

We have been delighted with the service we’ve received from everyone at Solid Sheds. Our shed was promised for Jan. 25th. (Our daughter’s birthday) and sure enough at 8am. it was delivered and erected by 11 am. The whole process has gone like clockwork, from ordering, at Avant, courtesy of James Nash, through to delivery and erection by Dave and Sam.

Our lovely shed is absolutely first class quality, we have had it three years now and it has had one coat of Protek on it to keep it tip top, its lovely quality. It was assembled by the company, they are professional, efficient and a delight to deal with, its worth paying for something that lasts, ours still looks brand new. Solid Sheds is a very good caring company.

We would just like to say how pleased we are with our purchase from Solid Sheds. We ordered the Shed/summer house back at the beginning of February.
Our shed was due to arrive the day after the lockdown was announced. Unfortunately that meant that we had to wait for restrictions to be lifted. It was finally installed last week.
We have been very impressed throughout with Solid Sheds, from the ordering through Kingston at High Legh Garden centre, communication by phone and emails with Head office (Lauren) and the fitters (Dave and James)
The shed is very good quality and exactly what we were looking for to complete our garden!

My shed was delivered and erected today, 13th February 2020.
It arrived right on the time that was specified and the delivery staff, Chris and Yaroslav, worked diligently and professional to get the job done in the minimum of time and with the minimum of fuss. The area around my new shed was left clean and tidy with all rubbish removed once they had finished.
Well done and I will certainly pass on the name of Solid Sheds to friends and family.

Cannot recommend Solid Sheds enough, excellent service from start to finish. After looking at lots of other websites I went to our local Solid Shed outlet at Trowel Garden Centre to have a look & was very impressed with the quality, Mark the sales guy was very helpful as I wanted an apex shed but with the door on the side & showed me what was available. On the day of installation the guys arrived & got on with it right away, they did an excellent job & the shed looks great. Just got to wait for the shed to dry out as recommended & can then paint it with the free paint. Sheds are one of the things that you get what you pay for but with Solid Sheds you get alot for your money & a great shed that will last for years.

Can’t recommend this company enough purchased through High Leigh Garden centre definitely a cut above the rest excellent service from first visit to completion the insulation guys did a fab job and left everything immaculate and next to all the other sheds we went to view most definitely the best.
Good solid log store – very happy. Real nice guys who delivered and assembled it.
Slight mix up with the size of some of the pieces but they returned the next day with the new pieces and put it up.
Recently purchased a garden building from Solid Sheds at Planters garden centre Tamworth, cannot recommend highly enough, turned up when they said, the people were excellent, friendly and the quality of the finish is exemplary. A very happy customer.

Ordered shed, it took 8-9 weeks, delivered the day which was arranged around the time given . All parts correct plus extras if needed. This was a self build which was straight forward enough looks great very pleased.
Hi after purchasing a log cabin by Solid Sheds from Astbury Garden Centre I was so happy with the service I received. It was a display model that I had to dismantle myself, The customer service that we received was 1st Class, I would highly recommend this company. They even provided me with a fitters number to get information about erecting the cabin, this was very helpful. Special thanks to Shelley & John who couldn’t do enough for me. Good Morning, I’d just like to compliment Solid Sheds on the my experience. My new 12 x 8 Pent shed upgraded to 3×2 timbers, arrived on the date agreed at time of order. Installation was very efficiently accomplished in less than 2 hours, your guys worked non stop. The shed itself has survived the recent ‘monsoon’ weather we have endured, without fault. Today Jiri and Marks delivered and erected my shed. Excellent service. The two guys were friendly and a professional team. Did not stop until their task was completed. The shed is of excellent quality and well worth the extra cost. Puts other sheds on the market to shame.

On 5th July 2017, Solid Sheds installed my “York” log cabin. Earlier the company laid a concrete base that was just what I wanted and was as flat as a billiard table. The lads fitted the cabin very efficiently in less than a day. Watching how they went about the installation confirmed that I was right have it installed by professionals rather than attempt it myself. I possibly could have done it, but it would have meant a week off work! I must say the lads who installed the cabin were very professional and never stopped. When the job was finally complete, they did a great job clearing all of the mess away leaving the garden tidy. The cabin itself is fantastic, I opted for the 44mm walls and am glad, it will be warm enough to use in winter with a little background heating.
We have a small garden and have never really made use of the space, we had a garden office put in early December 2016 and we have used it every day since then. The lads built it within a morning and the lads who did the internal cladding and wiring did that within a few hours. Both sets of lads were polite, worked hard and left no mess. I would recommend this business and product to anyone.
Our new summer house was erected with a minimum of fuss. Solid sheds are great from initial purchase to finishing. They are professional, efficient and friendly, with nothing being a bother.

Today, Steve and Chris erected our garden room. They arrived at 1000 were so pleasant and friendly and never stopped work until he building was complete. We purchased an office last year and from start to finish we had nothing but great support and cooperation. The office is great and well worth the money.
Any small problems we had were sorted to our complete satisfaction.

Our third product from Solid Sheds this time we have had the log cabin, as always exceptional level of customer service great price for a great product. In my opinion Solid Sheds stands out from the rest due to the quality of the fitters great bunch friendly work hard and very diligent with their work.

Very pleased with my shed. Well made and looking really good. I did have a couple of minor things that needed attention but customers services sent two guys who sorted it out. I decided to take the advice of Solid Sheds and use Protek Royal Exterior and I’m glad I did very good quality preservative and it looks great

I recently bought a garden office from Solid Sheds, but having seen some of the reviews on here after I had placed my order, I was rather nervous about what the finished building would be like. I needn’t have worried, as the finished building was completed to a very high standard and I am delighted with it.
After placing my order, I had to contact them to arrange an installation date. The date was agreed and the installation team arrived in the morning promptly. They were very friendly and polite, the standard of work was very high and I am delighted with the standard of finish.
Whilst it is probably one of the most expensive items in their range, you get what you pay for and I believe that I have got a high quality garden office which will hopefully last for many years time.

Report Review Having bought, ‘cheap’ that will do sheds for years, and replacing them regularly I decided to look for a more substantial, long lasting shed.
Came across Solidsheds, which had a fantastic range and a show site close to where i lived.Opted for a workshop design which was great, as i hoped to turn the shed into an outdoor playhouse. The salesman suggested using cladding inside, which solid sheds could fit.
A quick and speedy erection date was organised and when the gentlemen arrived to build the shed, they were professional and quick, answering any questions i had.
the shed was fantastic, looked special and seemed to top off my garden. Looking at the piled up scrap wood from my old crummy shed i was glad I’d invested in a high quality one.Overall, a great buy and a top quality shed!

Report Review We have been very impressed with our new shed from Solid Sheds. Andy came to our house to view the garden and advised me of the best size and location to place the shed. He left a brochure for us to peruse without any pressure of a sale. We then went to view the sheds at Ladygreeen; called Andy to confirm we wanted to go ahead and his team came the following week to erect the shed. It looks great and we have been very happy with the service.

ust wanted to say what a great company Solid sheds are. They are a friendly and productive company. They were probably the cleanest builders i know! There was no mess or fuss, they just got on with the job. My 10 x 10 workshop went up in around 2 hours! I was shocked how ”Solid” the workshop is (no pun intended)
