Pent Shed

It’s in your interest to make sure that water doesn’t find its way into your shed as damp will ruin its contents. A pent shed has a sloping design, causing water to run off your shed in one direction and giving you the choice with regards to where the excess water ends up. If you wish to make more efficient use of your garden space, you can fit a pent shed closer to your house or fence with the roof sloping away from your property or boundary. If you attach guttering with a water butt underneath, you can have water ready for watering your garden in the summer in the event of a drought.

You can place a pent shed where an apex shed will not fit, which could be underneath a balcony or beneath trees where branches and future growth dictate the area above the shed. Pent sheds from Solid Sheds have a front internal eaves height of 78″ and a back internal eaves height of 70″. Each pent shed is constructed with an extra strong roof and wall framework with diagonal bracing and the cladded roof is covered by polyester granite mineral felt. Our pent sheds are 100% pressure treated and protected by redwood shiplap cladding.
